Blockbusters was the pick of the pops when it came to 1980s quiz shows. Part of its winning appeal was that you could surreptitiously ask Bob (the presenter) to go to the toilet by asking for a P. Even funnier was watching the teeneagers ask for an E while trying to muffle their guffaws.
