If you like bikes and beer, then chances are you’ll love the Clunker Classic. It’s one of the craziest bike races in the world, and returns for its ninth year this Saturday to dish out some more drunken punishment. Obviously, we can’t divulge the details of this highly illegal race, but if you happen to be having a quiet pint in Porlock at about midday, look out for the nutters bezzing around on inappropriate bikes. It shouldn’t be too hard (there’ll be loads of ‘em).

Even though we’d love a few more scars, Team DG aren’t able to attend this year. Big thumbs up though to everyone who will be braving the slopes, and remember that the nearest minor injuries unit is at Minehead, telephone number 01643 707251. Hope the weather (and brakes) hold out for you!
